Adverse Police Interactions Study

STUDY PURPOSE

Adverse police interactions may represent a unique form of race-based traumatic stress for Black youth. The Adverse Police Interactions Study examines how direct and vicarious exposure to police interactions influences mental health among Black adolescents, while exploring whether factors such as social support and racial socialization help buffer these effects.
